How to upgrade to iOS4?
Step 1: Download iOS 4 for your iPhone/iPod Touch. The file is in IPSW format.
Step 2: Open your iTunes (All the IPSW files work with latest iTunes 9.2) andShift+Click (on PC) OR Option+Click (On Mac) the Restore button. Locate the IPSW that you just downloaded and click OK. Your iDevice will be updated to the latest iOS 4.0
Important: If your iPhone/iPod touch was Jailbroken then after applying the iOS 4.0 update your device will again be locked and you will have to Jailbreak it again using one of our tutorials listed on our iPhone/iPod touch Jailbreak library page.
